Renovation of a mixed-use development in Frankfort, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade military facility.
Provide architectural finishes and components related to the renovation for the existing PX Building on the Boone Campus. The goal is to renovate the existing building to become a grab and go hot and cold food service space that provides a convenient spot for personnel to order food and beverages and have a clerkless point of sale kiosk for payment. The architect shall specify floor finishes, ceiling finishes, new door thresholds, paint for walls, new entry door, and new finishes for the existing restroom. A new gypsum header will be needed to define the service area. Coordinate work with new HVAC and kitchen equipment. Provide a trench drain at the front entry and new concrete at the north side for equipment. Architecture must capture the cut and patch of existing exterior concrete and surfaces. Bidders must download bid documents, specifications, and drawings from the provided website; no emailed or hard copy bids will be accepted. The entire Official Bid Document and Bid Bond (if required) should be combined as one PDF and uploaded. Bidders should ensure all account contact information is correct prior to submission as this will carry forward if a contract is awarded.
