In accordance with the Board of Education of the City of Los Angeles (Board) adoption of a participation goal of twenty-five percent (25%) for Small Business Enterprises (SBE) and five percent (5%) for all Veteran Business Enterprises (VBE), per contract, of the overall dollar amount of funds allocated to the school construction and modernization program, the OWNER requires bidders to submit SBE and VBE information as set forth in this section. Project No. LA1629 Athletic facilities upgrades project includes new natural grass on the football/soccer field, a new 4-lane synthetic track, new practice long jump, modular building for home restrooms, home bleachers with 1,500-seat capacity, visitor bleachers with 515-seat capacity, field lighting, press box and sound system, scoreboard, goalposts, fencing and gates, and associated upgrades including landscape, hardscape, and infrastructure. The scope of work also includes the demolition and removal of the existing decomposed granite track and natural grass field as well as accessibility upgrades. The Visitor & Home bleachers' foundations and ramps are deferred approval and would be completed by Grandstand sub-contractor. Project construction includes three phases: Phase 1: Mobilization, Phase 2: Construction of Stadium Upgrades with Natural Turf Field & Synthetic Track, and Phase 3: Administrative Closeout.
