E-Rate RFP Infrastructure Hardware and Installation for Elk Grove Unified School District. Accepting bids for infrastructure hardware and installation. This solicitation is intended to provide a mechanism for the Elk Grove School District ("District") to procure hardware and installation/professional services for data infrastructure hardware at the following: o The Main Distribution Facility (MDF) and Intermediate Distribution Facilities (IDF) locations at one school site to provide accessibility to Internet services. o Necessary structured cabling at 3 secondary school sites to provide wireless access to internet services in specific locations at these school sites. o Single Mode Fiber from one building to another at a District support site See Appendix A for a full list of school sites and the specific locations at each site. The proposed solution price must include a complete bill of materials, applicable sales tax, applicable shipping, and installation/professional services. The intent of this RFP is to define specifications for the equipment and requirements to upgrade or the purchase and installation of a complete system. All plans proposed should include a project deployment plan, detailed billing and must include cost for hardware, installation,shipping, and taxes. The Proposer is responsible for providing installation of equipment into pre-determined and cabled locations within each school facility listed in the RFP.
