**As of January 22, 2026, the project was awarded to GA Technical Services, Inc, with an awarded amount of $723,634.64.** Written questions regarding IFB are due by (Note: See additional info in Section 8.) 12/18/2025 10:00 a.m Telecommunications network cabling, electrical services, and related hardware installation services for the Sacramento DMV Headquarters, Building East (4th Floor). See Exhibit A, Scope of Work, for a complete description of services. Bidders are required to possess a valid C-10 contractor license issued by the California Department of Consumer Affairs, Contractors State License Board (CSLB). All subcontractors must also possess applicable contractor licenses for the work they will perform. The bidder's license number must be indicated on the Bid/Bidder Certification Sheet and all subcontractors and their license numbers listed on the Bidder Declaration & Subcontractor/Supplier List. Bidder and subcontractor licenses must be active and in good standing from the time of the bid opening through the contract term. Bidder shall submit one of the following forms of security equal to 10% of the total bid amount at the time of bid submittal if the bid exceeds $461,000.00: bid bond, cash, cashier's check, or certified check. The bidder and all proposed subcontractors must adhere to the payment of prevailing wages as determined by the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) if the bid exceeds $1,000.00, and must be registered public works contractors with the DIR if the bid exceeds $25,000.00. Proof of DIR registration must be provided. All registrations must remain active until all certified payroll records have been submitted to the DIR Labor Commissioner. If pre-approved equal manufacturers or brands are allowed for materials, the bidder may submit one (1) alternative for DMV consideration. Requests must be emailed by the deadline. The DMV is the sole judge of acceptability for alternative brands and may reject any the DMV deems inappropriate.
