The City of West Sacramento is soliciting proposals from qualified firms or individuals ("Proposer") to provide administration of the Residential Accessibility Modification Program (RAMP). This program provides one-time grants to eligible owner-occupied households for accessibility modifications that allow income-qualified disabled residents to remain safely and independently in their homes. Background The City of West Sacramento recognizes the importance of ensuring that residents with disabilities or mobility challenges can live safely and comfortably in their homes. The purpose of RAMP is to eliminate physical barriers and improve accessibility through home modifications such as ramps, widened doorways, grab bars, accessible bathrooms, or other improvements that facilitate independent living. The City seeks a qualified consultant or organization with demonstrated experience in housing rehabilitation, accessibility compliance, and grant administration to oversee day-to-day program operations, manage applicant intake and income verification, coordinate with contractors, and ensure compliance with PLHA guidelines.
