The project includes furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and other incidental and appurtenant work necessary to satisfactorily complete the project, as described in the specifications. The work will be performed in strict conformance with specifications, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations. The actual quantities of work and materials may vary at the discretion of the County. The scope includes replacement of existing air handlers at the fourth floor of the Sacramento County Administration building at 827 7th Street, as the units are past their useful life. Components such as coils, fans, and duct plenums will be removed and replaced in sections to facilitate the work without crane rental. Equipment transfer methods will utilize existing stairwells or the building core elevator. The HVAC controls system will be fully replaced, and duct cleaning is included. The work to be performed under this contract includes the replacement of existing air handler components for five existing air handlers at the fourth floor mechanical room of 827 7th street. The work includes extensive HVAC controls replacements of legacy Johnson Controls Systems, both in the mechanical room and for all ancillary devices across the building, including controls replacement for an existing air handler at the basement lower level. Inline Coil replacements are included along with comprehensive building duct cleaning and air outlet balancing.
