As of February 02, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on February 17, 2026. This project consists of cleaning, regrading, and making improvements to the existing ditch. It also includes sheet piling installation, landscaping, wooden fence installation, and the installation of a 10-foot multi-use path along the west side of Fort Meigs Road from Eckel Junction Road to State Route 65 (West River Road). The contract is subject to the provisions of State of Ohio Prevailing Wage Rates, and will require certificates of insurance and may require performance and payment bonds. In order to be considered responsive, the contractor and all subcontractors must comply with City Ordinance 08-2023. The project will be awarded to the lowest and most responsive bidder based on the Grand Total Price of the Base Bid and any accepted alternatives. All questions must be asked on the Bid Express website so that answers are visible to all potential bidders. The bidder must confirm compliance with wage and fringe benefit requirements from O.R.C. 4115.03(E), provide healthcare and retirement benefits as standard compensation, and hire employees who have completed or are participating in a certified apprenticeship or have at least five years of documented experience. The bidder certifies compliance with City of Perrysburg Code 252.052. If any person contemplating submitting a Bid for the proposed Contract is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the drawing, specifications, or other proposed Contract Documents, he may submit to the Engineer a written request for an interpretation thereof. The person submitting the request will be responsible for its prompt delivery. Any interpretation of the proposed documents will be made only by Addendum duly issued and a copy of such Addendum will be mailed or delivered to each person receiving a set of such documents. The awarding authority will not be responsible for any other explanations or interpretations of the proposed documents.
