Description

Site work for a road / highway in Armstrong, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The purpose of this RFP is to invite Proposals from qualified Proponents to provide CARI Phase 1 (Reconstruction of Pleasant Valley Boulevard North between Okanagan Street and Mill Steet). The Work can be briefly summarized as follows and supported by Attachments #1- #4: Over-excavation of organics and unsuitable subgrade, backfilled with imported granular materials. Removal of existing trees. Full road reconstruction between Okanagan Street (west) and Mill Street (east), including new granular road structure and asphalt paving. Construction of concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, and designated paver hardscape areas. Installation of new street lighting, street signage, and pavement markings. Replacement of the storm sewer system, including manholes, catch basins, and leads. Provisional undergrounding of BC Hydro and telecommunications utilities at the west and east ends of the corridor. Landscaping and design-build supply of an irrigation system to support landscaped areas and street furniture. Installation of Fencing parallel to the CN Rail Corridor.
