Summary The Town of Nantucket, through its Department of Public Works, invites qualified responders to submit quotes for Town-Wide Irrigation Services. This Request for Quotes is made in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30 39M. Question Deadline 12/29/2025 at 2:00 PM ET Question Response Deadline: January 5, 2026, 4:00pm The Successful Bidder must furnish a Payment Bond in amount at least equal to fifty percent (50%) of the contract price with a surety company acceptable to the Town of Nantucket. When submitting quotes, it is understood that the Town of Nantucket reserves the right to reject any, and all quotes, or parts of any quote. The Town of Nantucket reserves the right to inspect any and all work in progress or completed. Any omission or failure on the part of the Town of Nantucket's representative to disapprove or reject inferior or defective work or materials shall not be construed to be an acceptance of such work or material. If any defective work or material is found during inspection, the contractor shall remove or repair, at his/her own expense, such defective work or material rejected and shall rebuild and/or replace same without extra charge.
