Question Deadline 01/27/2026- All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. This project at 9100 SE Mangan Dr, Clackamas includes, but is not limited to, the following work: demolishing the existing pump base, pressure relief valve, and associated piping; constructing a new reinforced concrete pump pedestal; installing pipe to align with owner-furnished pump and motor for High Lift Pump 5 (pump and motor to be installed by others); connecting the new pump to the existing discharge piping system; and commissioning and testing the completed installation. Bid instructions require that bids be submitted via hardcopy at the time and place indicated. Prospective bidders must acknowledge all sections of the bid documents and print and complete all required forms as part of their bid submission. All plan holders who download the contract documents from the website must fill out the form with correct contractor information to be included on the plan holders list. Each bid must be submitted on the bid form included in the bid package or issued by addendum and accompanied by bid security as prescribed in the instructions to bidders, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the necessary additional bond(s) for the faithful performance of the contract. Each bid must contain a statement as to whether the bidder is a resident bidder as defined in ORS 279A.120. All bidders must submit a list of their first-tier subcontractors, as required by ORS 279C.370, in a separate envelope no later than 4:00 PM Pacific Time on the same day as the bid opening. Failure to meet these requirements will result in the bid being declared non-responsive and not considered for award. The project is a public work project and is covered by Oregon prevailing wage laws. By submitting a bid, the bidder certifies compliance with all requirements of Oregon's prevailing wage laws and regulations. Only bids from contractors licensed by the Construction Contractors Board or the State Landscape Contractors Board will be considered. The contract, if awarded, will be to the lowest responsive bid of a responsible bidder.
