As of March 30, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded by the end of April. Provide all materials, equipment, labor, coordination, and supervisory activities necessary to complete construction services for the Department of Public Safety Garland Crime Lab Remodel at 350 West IH-30, Garland, Texas, as described in the attached specifications, drawings, and contract documents. The scope includes but is not limited to portable toilets, temporary fencing, special flooring, custom casework and cabinets, scaffolding, site work and clean-up, door installation and repair, siding installation and repair, general construction (including backfill, digging, ditching, road grading), excavation, carpentry, concrete, electrical, metal work, roofing and siding, structural steel, welding, and hauling services. Proposals must comply with the Texas Government Code Chapter §2269 Subchapter D, and all services are to be completed as further detailed in the project manual and attachments prepared by the architect/engineer of record and Texas Facilities Commission. Proposals will only be accepted from Respondents that attend at least one of the mandatory pre-submittal teleconferences.
