Site work and paving for a civil project in Garland, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Reference Number 0000408709 As outlined in the plans and specifications, the scope of this project includes the installation of an 8-inch water line and fire hydrant, as well as the removal and proper disposal of the existing water line. The work will be performed in the area between the Mission Fairways Apartments and IH-30 WBFR. Bidder must submit, with their Bid, a Cashier's check, Certified check or a Bid Bond from an approved surety company, in the amount of five percent (5%) of their Bid as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and guarantee forms, if required, within 10 days after notice of award of contract. The successful bidder must furnish both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, from an approved Surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety, and acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding Certificates of Authority from the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, or another Surety acceptable to the City.
