Site work for a water / sewer project in Broad Run, Virginia. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Construction of I-66 Rest Area Sewer Main. The existing sewer crossing is located adjacent to the existing rest areas approximately 2,300 feet from Gateway Court on I-66 as shown on the plans. The proposed sewer will be installed approximately 10 feet to the West of the existing sewer. GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Provide all materials, equipment and labor necessary for the construction of I-66 REST AREA SEWER MAIN. The work includes, but is not limited to the following: Mobilization and Demobilization Erosion controls Installation of 326 LF of 18-inch C-900 sanitary sewer and 264 LF of 30-inch steel casing pipe Installation of two sanitary sewer manholes with watertight frame and cover Temporary sewage diversion pumping system Abandonment of approximately 270 LF of existing 16-inch sanitary sewer and 40 LF of 15- inch sanitary sewer Removal of approximately 27 LF of existing 8-inch sanitary sewer Restoration of pavement, curb and gutter, underdrain, fence, guardrail and turf areas including stormwater management pond embankment Bidder shall submit each bid and required accompanying documents using the blank form(s) provided in this Project Manual.
