PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED TO ESTABLISH AN ALLIANCE AGREEMENT WITH A VENDOR WHO CAN SUPPORT BWP WAREHOUSE PERSONNEL WITH RELIABLE AND CONTINUOUS SUPPLY OF LARGE WIRE AND CABLE. THE PURPOSE OF THIS ALLIANCE AGREEMENT IS TO FURNISH THE REQUIRED MATERIALS NEEDED BY THE BWP ELECTRICAL DIVISION TO ACCOMPLISH THEIR DAILY OPERATIONS AND REDUCE COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE DISRUPTION OF SCHEDULES CAUSED BY THE LACK OF MATERIAL FOR THE FIELD CREWS. THE SUCCESSFUL VENDOR WILL PROVIDE RESTOCKING SERVICES; STOCK HIGH VOLUME ITEMS USED BY BWP TO ENSURE THE BWP DIVISIONS HAVE ACCESS TO REQUIRED MATERIAL, AND CONDUCT MEETINGS WITH BWP PERSONNEL TO DISCUSS PRODUCT IMPROVEMENT. VENDOR TERMS AND CONDITIONS SUBMITTED WITH THEIR BID WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND WILL DISQUALIFY THE BIDDER AND DEEM THEM NON-RESPONSIVE. ADDITIONS, CHANGES AND/OR EXCEPTIONS TO THE CITY OF BURBANK GENERAL CONDITIONS WILL DISQUALIFY THE BIDDER AND WILL DEEM THEM NON-RESPONSIVE.
