Site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Avalon, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a 18,149-square-foot multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.
The City previously entered a contract with US-Offsite (the "Modular Manufacturer") for the design, procurement, manufacturing, and make shipment ready of 39 modular units and accessory components (the "Modular Manufacturing Scope") for the Civic Center Housing Project in the City of Avalon. The Modular Manufacturer and their design consultants have generated, in coordination with the City and their consultants, Architectural, Structural and Mechanical Design Documents (individually and collectively called the "Modular Design Documents"). The City of Avalon is now soliciting bids from qualified Contractors ("Bidders") for the Shipping, On-Site Installation, Stitching and Commissioning of all components covered under the Modular Manufacturing Scope and additional scope and services as outlined below. All questions, interpretations or clarifications, either administrative or technical, must be requested in writing via email to:coa-cchp@cityofavalon.gov or submitted directly online. Question Deadline 01/29/2026 at 2:00 PM PT Pre bid meeting notes: Bids will not be accepted from any bidder who did not attend the mandatory Pre-Bid Conference. Vendor attendance is required.
