The City previously entered into a contract with US-Offsite (the "Modular Manufacturer"), for the design, procurement, manufacturing and make shipment ready of 39 modular units and accessory components (the "Modular Manufacturing Scope") for the Civic Center Housing Project in the City of Avalon. The Modular Manufacturer and their design consultants have generated, in coordination with the City, Architectural, Structural and Civil Design Documents (individually and collectively called the "Modular Design Documents"). The City is now soliciting bids from qualified Contractors ("Bidders") for the on-site civil work for the Project, including but not limited to grading, excavation, compaction, underground utilities, foundation, retaining walls, hard scape and landscape including drainage as well as demolition of select existing structures. All questions, interpretations or clarifications, either administrative or technical, must be requested in writing via email to:coa-cchp@cityofavalon.gov or submitted directly in online. Event pre bid meeting descriptions : Oral statements regarding this Bid at the Pre-Bid Conference should be considered unverified information unless confirmed in writing. Bids will not be accepted from any bidder who did not attend the mandatory Pre-Bid Conference.
