BACKGROUND: Boulder County Public Works is replacing a bridge on Baseline Road over Dry Creek #3, in unincorporated Boulder County, near address 6847 Baseline Road, Boulder, Colorado. The existing structure will be removed and replaced with a precast reinforced concrete box culvert (CBC) with precast skewed end sections. The bridge replacement project is expected to commence between July 15, 2026 and December 15, 2026. SCOPE OF WORK: Product Boulder County Public Works is soliciting bids from qualified and experienced concrete product producer's for the manufacturing and delivery of an 18-foot-wide by 10.5-foot high (inner dimension) precast reinforced concrete box culvert including four precast skewed end sections. Two culverts (each 18-foot-wide by 10.5-foot high by 46.5-feet long) will be installed adjacent to each other to create a double box culvert. The project also includes installation of guardrail, erosion control, traffic control, seeding, milling and overlaying of hot mix asphalt, full depth hot mix asphalt, asphalt patching, creek re-alignment and wetland mitigation. SPECIFICATIONS: The Colorado Department of Transportation 2025 Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction and M&S Standard M-603-3 controls the construction of this project. Coordination and scheduling with Boulder County will be required prior to delivery. There will be no through access; trucks will be turned around at the project site.
