Renovation of a fire / police facility in Owego, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Sealed bids are requested for the construction of the Police Station Historic Preservation project. Bids are for a single prime contract for General Trades Work, to be performed in accordance with the Drawings, Project Manual, and other Bidding and Contract Documents prepared by Hunt Engineers, Architects, Land Surveyors & Landscape Architect, DPC. The property is historically significant and listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Bidders must have a minimum of 5 years of successful experience in completion of similar projects for State, National, or locally registered landmarks. Bidders are required to make a Good Faith Effort in the utilization of Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) and furnish reports showing participation of various business enterprises of subcontractors and suppliers on the contract. All bids must comply with the requirements specified in the Instructions to Bidders, including bid security and conditions of employment and minimum wage rates under the Contract. Bidders must comply with Section 220-I of NYS Labor Law and provide a Certificate of Registration as part of their bid. Additional site visits are permitted by appointment only.
