Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Hanford, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
Bids are required to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and insurance necessary for the entire work described as follows: Furnish and install one new 12,000-gallon Jet A tank and one new 12,000-gallon Avgas tank with a new credit card reader, bollards, and electrical equipment on a new concrete pad. Furnish and install new underground electrical duct and communication cable and a new fence around the new fuel island. Construct concrete containment pad for fuel tanker parking during fuel offloading and a sump pump and oil-water separator. Construct new asphalt pavement entrance to concrete containment pad. All bid documents must be submitted through Bidnet Direct's California Purchasing Group website. Bids must be from a contractor appropriately licensed by the time of award and accompanied by a bid security of ten percent (10%) of the proposal amount. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond for 100 percent of the contract price. The work is to be completed within forty (40) working days. Bidders must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including wage rates and CARB regulations. Submission of required forms and certifications, including Small Business Participation information and Certificates of Reported Compliance for off-road diesel equipment, is mandatory with the bid. Bids must be in writing and signed by or on behalf of the bidder. All proposals must be on the specified forms and comply with all instructions and contract documents. No withdrawal of bids is allowed for ninety (90) days after opening.
