Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hanford, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The work consists, in general, of preparation and construction of left-turn lanes, signing and striping, furnishing and installing flashing beacons at several locations throughout the County. Bids are required for the entire work described. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a bidder's bond, certified check, or cashier's check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount. The contractor must possess either a Class A license or a combination of Class C licenses to perform the work at the time the contract is awarded. The project is subject to the "Buy America" provisions and state contract nondiscrimination and compliance requirements. Plans and specifications can be obtained online, and it is the responsibility of the bidder to check the website for any addendums. Prices in the Bid must include all sales taxes, other taxes, and applicable fees. Any and all questions shall be submitted in writing and directed to Patricio.Villegas@co.kings.ca.us Department of the Public Works, County of Kings, 1400 West Lacey Boulevard, Hanford, California.
