The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District, is seeking market research responses for maintenance dredging and confined disposal facility (CDF) maintenance at Bolles Harbor and Monroe Harbor in Monroe County, Michigan. The contractor will mobilize dredging equipment to both harbors, perform dredging and CDF maintenance, and demobilize upon completion. Bolles Harbor dredging will use the box method, with the inner harbor dredged to 6 feet plus 1 foot of overdepth and the outer harbor to 8 feet plus 1 foot of overdepth. CDF maintenance includes clearing and grubbing within the placement cell, tree removal, mowing, and clearing the tops and sides of dikes. Monroe Harbor dredging will be hydraulic using the box method, with the river channel dredged to 23 feet plus 1 foot of overdepth, the turning basin to 20 feet plus 1 foot of overdepth, and a 25-foot buffer near the sheet pile wall dredged to 21 feet. CDF maintenance at Monroe Harbor includes vegetation clearing in cell 1, clearing and grubbing in cell 2, and tree removal. Location: Monroe County, Michigan.
