Site work for a water / sewer project in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed proposals are requested for furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment required to construct WATER - SECTION I for Sanitary and Improvement District 378, Sarpy County, Nebraska, as per the plans and specifications available at E & A Consulting Group, Inc. The work consists essentially of constructing various sizes and types of ductile iron pipe (D.I.P.) water mains, installing gate valves and tees, constructing fire hydrant assemblies, and connecting to an existing main. All proposals must be submitted on bid forms provided by E & A Consulting Group, Inc., and must be accompanied by an original bid bond or certified check in the amount of at least $31,200.00 made payable to the Treasurer of Sanitary and Improvement District 378 as security. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded must enter into a contract and provide a contract and maintenance bond in the amount of 100% of the total contract price. Proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the "Clerk of Sanitary and Improvement District 378" and marked "PROPOSAL FOR WATER - SECTION I" with the bidder's name and address. The bid security must be in a separate sealed envelope attached to the proposal envelope and marked "BID SECURITY" with the project identified thereon. No bidder may withdraw their proposal for sixty days after the bid opening date. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
