**As of February 11, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Roadway and Intersection Improvements Boston-worcester Turnpike (Route 9)/otis S The work includes, but is not limited to, excavation, box widening, full-depth construction, drainage system modifications; sidewalk, shared-use path, pedestrian curb ramp and driveway construction; vertical granite curb installation; hot mix asphalt berm installation; traffic signal installation and modifications; traffic sign and pavement marking installation, overhead utility modifications, street lighting modifications, traffic control management during construction, and other improvements in accordance with the Plans, a construction schedule to be completed by contractor and distributed to abutting land owners prior to start of construction and these Special Provisions. There is one Add Alternate for the project. Add Alternate #1 consists of constructing an additional 900' length of 10'-wide HMA shared use path. The entire project shall be constructed in one phase. The deadline for submitting questions regarding this bid was at least eight (8) days prior to the original posted bid opening date of January 20, 2026.
