Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Santa Ana, California. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and playground / park / athletic field.

The Project is subject to the Community Workforce Agreement for Construction, Repair, Upgrade, Renovation, Modernization, Expansion, Rehabilitation and Improvement Work Projects dated June 27, 2017 entered into between the District and various labor unions (the "CWA"). The successful bidder and its subcontractors will be required by the District to be bound by the terms of the CWA section 00 73 49. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess one or more of the following State of California Contractor Licenses: Bid Package Description License BP 01 General Construction B The following contractors and subcontractors must be prequalified prior to bidding on this Project: o All Prime Contractor Bidders, per Public Contract Code Section 20111.6; with the following license classifications: A, B, C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and/or C-46. o Mechanical, electrical, or plumbing Subcontractors performing work under the following license classifications: C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and/or C-46. Prequalification is required for all contractors and subcontractors listed above, even if the amount of work or labor is not in excess of one-half of one percent (.5%) of the Bidders total bid. All prequalification questionnaires will be received until January 17, 2026. The District shall award the Contract, if it awards it at all, to the lowest responsive responsible bidder based on: The Base Bid Amount Only As security for its bid, each bidder shall provide with its bid form o A bid bond issued by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District, o Cash, or o A cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the Santa Ana Unified School District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price. This bid security shall be a guarantee that the Bidder shall, within five (5) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100 % Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the contract for the Project. The District's Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. If the District awards the Contract, the security of unsuccessful bidder(s) shall be returned within sixty (60) days from the time the award is made.
