Sealed proposals will be received for the furnishing of all labor, materials, use of Contractor's equipment, plans, and all else necessary to properly construct all of the improvements designated as Basin 1 and Basin 2 Closure (Deer Creek Highlands), Sanitary and Improvement District No. 499 of Douglas County, Nebraska. The work consists of the construction or other effectuation of the listed items and other related preparatory and subsidiary work from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The scope of work includes, for Basin 1 Closure: mobilization/demobilization, install and remove construction entrance, traffic control, clearing and grubbing, removal of various sewer pipes and structures, excavation, installation of silt fence, construction of storm sewers, bedding, manholes, curb and gutter, seeding, erosion control, and related items. Basin 2 Closure includes similar clearing and grubbing, traffic control, sewer pipe removal, excavation, seeding, erosion control, curb and gutter, and silt fence installation. All work is to be done in accordance with the drawings and specifications prepared by the Engineer for the District. Each bid must be accompanied in a separate sealed envelope by a certified check or bid bond in the specified amount as evidence of bidder's good faith.
