Renovation of a multi-residential development in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 24-unit multi-residential development.

In general the work includes but is not limited to renovations to 24 suites in an existing residence hall. Renovations include rough framing at doors, new flush wood doors in new and reused hollow metal frames. Cabinetry work includes replacing wood casework for kitchens and vanities for restrooms. Finishes work includes patching gypsum, tiling, resilient flooring, carpet tile and interior painting. Other components include wall protection, toilet room accessories and window shades. There is a bid alternate for replacement of existing windows with fiberglass windows and solid surface sills. Plumbing work includes replacing lavatory, water closet and shower fixtures. Mechanical work includes replacing HVAC units with new exhaust fans, vertical terminal air conditioners, electric radiant ceiling panels and heat fans. Electrical work includes lighting and fire alarms. Lump-sum bids will be received on a single prime construction contract for the entire work including plumbing, fire protection, mechanical and electrical work. Bids will not be accepted from prime contractors that are not pre-qualified through the owner's annual pre-qualification process. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the maximum amount of the bid. All work performed under this contract shall have a 2 year contractor obligation as specified in Section 00 73 00 Article 12. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
