Renovation of a mixed-use development in Norris City, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and educational facility.
LOCATION(S): N.C.O.E. High School 205 East Eubanks Street Norris City, White Co., IL 62869 N.C.O. Grade School580 U.S. Highway 45 South Norris City, White Co., IL 62869. Abatement Work to include the removal of LVT flooring over ACM floor tile and mastic, 12 * 12 ACM wall and ceiling tiles and mastic, 9 * 9 ACM floor tile and mastic, ACM science casework and countertops, and under floor piping and ACM pipe insulation per IDPH requirements and regulations. General Work to include the complete renovation of the high school office suite and science lab as well as exterior building and wayfinding signage, and interior room signage. Work to include the installation of metal stud and gypsum partitions, CMU infill, concrete floor work, hollow metal door and frames, wood doors, acoustical wall panels, science lab casework, office casework, LVT flooring, vinyl sheet flooring, interior and exterior painting, interior and exterior signage, gypsum and ACT ceiling assemblies, new roof curbs, a roof top unit, two rooftop condensing units, interior ductwork, gas piping, and light fixture Corresponding Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical Systems will also be included. Alternate Bid #1 Work to include the replacement of three exterior door assemblies and the installation of one new interior door assembly. See Section 00 10 00 -Instruction to Bidders and Section 00 10 01-Supplemental Instructions to Bidders bound within the Project Manual for further bidding requirements. The successful bidder shall comply with the provisions of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, specifically including the payment of the applicable prevailing wages to all laborers, workers, and mechanics performing work under the contract. The Owner is exempt from sales tax. Payment and Performance Bonds will be required. Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the Owner in the amount of 5% of the base bid will be required. Bids shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, considering conformity with specifications, terms of delivery, and quality and serviceability, as determined by the Board. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner. Facsimile and electronic bids will not be accepted. Bidders are responsible for ensuring timely delivery of their bids; no late bids will be accepted. Doc note: which will be refunded upon return of documents in good condition to Paducah Blueprints within 30 days after Bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part or to waive any informality in the bidding process. Any such decision shall be considered final.
