Furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and appurtenances necessary for approximately 2.40 miles of recycled asphaltic concrete resurfacing on Emory Chambers Rd. The project consists of approximately 2.40 miles of patching, recycled asphaltic concrete resurfacing, striping, and shoulder filling on Emory Chambers Rd. All work shall be completed in accordance with Plans, Special Provisions, and the latest edition of the Georgia Department of Transportation Standard Specifications, applicable Supplemental Specifications, and the latest edition of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). The work will be awarded in one contract. Bidders must submit sealed bids. Payments and applications for payment shall be in accordance with the contract documents. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond and payment bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the bid. Each bid must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty in the amount of five percent of the total bid. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to readvertise. All questions must be submitted by email to the Deputy County Clerk by the specified deadline. No response to inquiries other than those emailed will be binding. Addenda, if issued, must be signed and submitted with bids.
