Work includes structural steel, wood framing, standing seam metal roof, and electrical. Prevailing wages in accordance with Douglas County are required. Bid security is required, in the form of a bid bond or certified check in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid as guarantee that the bid will not be withdrawn within 30 days after the date of opening of bids, and that the successful bidder will enter into a contract for the work awarded to them. Both a Performance Bond and a Labor and Payment Bond are required for this project, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Bids must be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 30 days after submission. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids or any part thereof, to waive any informality in bidding, and to accept bids deemed most favorable to the owner.
