Renovation of a multi-residential development in Greensboro, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The County of Greene is requesting proposals from General Contractors for a home rehabilitation project in Greensboro, PA. Repairs required include, but are not limited to: door replacements, kitchen and bathroom repairs, gutter replacement, electrical and plumbing work, window and flooring replacement, cabinet repair or replacement, and other interior and exterior repairs. The contractor is expected to follow the scope of work prepared by the housing inspector, follow detailed work descriptions to bring the structure up to HUD Quality Standards and local codes, conduct progress inspections with photo documentation, and document costs for required repairs. The general contractor must have a current Home Improvement Contractor (HIC) License and insurance, and may procure and maintain subcontractors for specialized licensed work. Contracts will be signed between the contractor and homeowner(s), with the County managing the project and providing payment at specified progress intervals upon satisfactory inspections. Sealed bids must be submitted to the Greene County Controllers Office. Faxed or emailed proposals will not be accepted.
