Sealed bids are requested for galvanized, corrugated metal culverts and asphalt-coated culverts that meet Louisiana Highway Specifications. Bid prices must include delivery to the Parish Maintenance Barn at 15846 Highway 124N, Jonesville, LA. A five-day delivery time is requested, and if materials are unavailable from the low bidder within five days, culverts may be purchased from the next lowest bidder. Bids must not include variable or market-based prices or surcharges. Bid price must include all applicable taxes and fees. Bidders must include in their proposal a separate statement listing any and all preferences claimed, including the name and location of the manufacturer if preferences are listed. Vendors requesting preference under LA R.S. 39:1604 must meet all statutory requirements. The right is reserved to accept or reject any and/or all bids, to waive informalities, and to make the award as elected. Acceptance of a bid constitutes a contract that cannot be terminated without 30-day written consent from both parties.
