Renovation of an educational facility in East Aurora, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Project consists of masonry restoration at East Aurora High School. Bidders are invited to submit bids for the project according to the instructions provided. Bids will be received for the following work: Contract - General Trades. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the work. A Performance Bond, a separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and insurance in a form acceptable to the owner will be required of the successful bidder. All potential bidders must self-perform a minimum of 20% of the work. The contractor shall provide 20% construction and/or site supervision as proof of self-performance associated with the contract for which they submit bids. Self-performance cannot include general overhead (i.e. submittals, RFI and RFP paperwork, construction meetings, etc.). Bid bond payable to the owner shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening. Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to re-advertise for new bids, and to waive informalities and irregularities in connection with any bid. Pre-Bid Meeting 01/08/2026 at 3:30 PM ET All questions, interpretations, clarifications, etc. pertaining to the bid documents must be made in the separate form provided and emailed to Steve Shchurowsky, Stephen Jeffrey, and Kira Podmayersky at steves@youngandwright.com, sjeffrey@youngandwright.com, and kirap@youngandwright.com, at least seven days prior to the bid opening Question Deadline 01/15/2026 at 3:30 PM ET, All RFIs are due by January 14, 2026.
