Description

Renovation of a water / sewer project in East Aurora, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The nature of the work generally includes a prefabricated building system, concrete pad, new screening equipment with a washer compactor, equipment installation, connections, and associated work at the East Aurora Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF). MBE utilization goals for this contract is 10% WBE utilization goals for this contract is 2%. The contract work is located at the East Aurora Water Resource Recovery Facility, 201 Mill St., East Aurora, NY 14052. Work includes demolition and disposal of the existing influent screen building superstructure; removal and disposal of existing screening equipment; expansion of the influent screen building floor slab; replacement of underground piping; installation of two (2) link-driven multiple-rake bar screens; installation of one (1) screenings washing press;
