Site work for a water / sewer project in Nashville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Install 8 diameter PVC sanitary sewer main (gravity, various depths): 1,709 LF. Install standard precast concrete manholes with ring & cover: 10 each. Install 4 diameter PVC sanitary sewer service with cleanouts: 23 each. Connect existing service at septic tank to new 4 service: 23 each. Provide select backfill: 200 CY. Provide NCDOT No. 57 stone for pipe bedding: 100 TN. Core existing manholes for pipe connections: 3 LS. Perform driveway open cuts (concrete and gravel, includes cut, material, pipe replacement, drive repair). Perform road open cuts (Essex Road - asphalt, Hampton Circle - 2 cuts, includes cut and material). Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Anti-Kickback Act, and Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act. The bidder must display their current license number on the outside of the sealed proposal envelope. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 30 days after the opening. The Town reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids. Small and Minority/Women-Owned Business and Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB) participation is encouraged. All project-related questions must be submitted in writing.
