Sealed bids are invited for the Serving Line Equipment Package for Mason High School. Bids will be received for the Kitchen Equipment Contract Package (Single Prime) and must include all labor, materials, equipment, special tools, and services necessary to complete the work as described in the Contract Documents. Bids are to be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid (including add alternates), or a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit in the amount of 10% of the bid. Each proposal must list every person with an interest in it and comply with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject any or all bids, and to conduct necessary reviews to determine bidder responsibility. No bids may be withdrawn for sixty days after opening. Plans and specifications can be reviewed at the Architect's Office or area Plan Rooms, and copies may be purchased from Key Blue Prints in Cincinnati. The probable cost for the total construction contract is $750,000. The Work under consideration for bidding shall be the Work shown on the Drawings and described in the Specifications for the project titled Serving Line Equipment Package for Mason High School, as prepared by VSWC - Architects, Inc. These bidding documents are the Contract Documents. In general the Work includes supplying and the installation of food service equipment. Note that this is the first package being bid for this project. The renovation of the space will be bid approximately (1) month after this package and will include demolition, and renovation. Note that the Food Service Contractor will need to work with the Renovation Contractor to complete this project for the start of the school year. Unless otherwise noted, all items, material, processes, and procedures included in these specifications are to include both labor and material necessary for a complete job.
