Site work and paving for a civil project in Knoxville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Project consists of clearing, grading, drainage, roadway base and paving, traffic control and striping for the proposed roadway improvements. Each Bid must be accompanied by a certified check or by a Bidder's Bond executed by the Bidder and a surety company licensed to do business in Tennessee in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. The successful Bidder will be required to execute an acceptable performance and payment bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price within thirty (30) calendar days of contract award notice. Questions regarding this bid request shall be directed, in writing, to Brian Hubbs, Construction and Contract Specialist, 1000 N. Central Street, Suite 100, Knoxville, TN 37917 at brian.hubbs@knoxcounty.org (Telephone 865-215-5753) no later than Monday, January 12, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. local time. All technical questions will be addressed by written addendum issued by Knox County Procurement. All Bidders must be licensed Contractors as required by the "CONTRACTOR'S LICENSING ACT OF 1976," and as passed by the 89th General Assembly of the State of Tennessee. Furthermore, the Contractor should have the necessary licensing classifications as listed in the Rules of Tennessee Board for Licensing General Contractors-Chapter 0680-1.
