The City of Edwardsville, Illinois is seeking Statements of Qualifications from IDOT prequalified Engineering firms for design engineering services for the Center Grove Road Trail. The project includes construction of a shared use path from IL Route 157 to IL Route 159 along Center Grove Road, providing an alternate mode of transportation for pedestrians using the Center Grove Road corridor to access the Edwardsville Crossing strip malls and connect to the new shared use path across the Center Grove Rd bridge, as well as Phase 1 of the Route 66 Trail. The project length is approximately 9,300 feet (1.76 miles) and involves grading, shared use path construction, curb and gutter construction, storm sewer appurtenances, ADA ramps, crosswalk improvements, and retaining wall construction. Interested firms must submit three (3) copies of their RFQ in a sealed envelope marked "Center Grove Road Trail" to the office of the City Clerk. Submittals will be evaluated by a selection committee consisting of engineering professionals employed by the City of Edwardsville using qualifications-based consultant selection procedures. The City reserves the right to consider any submittal, reject any or all submittals, cancel the procurement process at any time for any reason, or accept an alternative submittal.
