The scope of work includes removal of existing culvert structure(s) and installation of new culvert structure(s) at Structure No. 725.17900 on Audrain County Road 725 and Structure No. 836.26425 on Audrain County Road 836. Bid packages will be distributed electronically via email at no cost to the bidder. Hard copies will not be available for purchase. Bidders may print copies at their own expense. When requesting plans, bidders must provide a Company Name, Contact Person and Phone Number, Company Address, and Email Address to be added to the Plan Holders List and for receiving additional bid documents and addenda. Only those on the Plan Holders List will receive addenda. To request the bid package, email the Audrain County Administrative Assistant at road@audraincounty.org. Project and bidding questions shall be conducted exclusively via email. Any questions regarding the project must be submitted by 3:00 pm local time on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. No written questions after this date or verbal questions will be recognized. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid. All labor used in the construction shall be paid a wage no less than the prevailing hourly rate as established by the state wage rate. No business entity or employer shall knowingly employ, hire for employment, or continue to employ an unauthorized alien to perform work. The successful bidder must submit a sworn affidavit and documentation affirming enrollment and participation in the federal work authorization program and that all employees are not illegal immigrants. Contractors and subcontractors must provide a 10-Hour OSHA construction safety program to be completed by on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work.
