Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Arab, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.

The work includes, but is not limited to, the removal of the existing HVAC system which consists of air-cooled chiller, gas-fired boiler, and ancillary equipment; and replacement with 4 gas-fired package air-conditioning units and ancillary equipment, including all associated electrical, controls, materials, labor, and permits necessary for a complete and operational system. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Bid - Senior Center HVAC Renovation Project." A cashier's check or bid bond payable to The City of Arab in an amount not less than five percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Bidders must comply with the Alabama Competitive Bid Law. The successful bidder must provide proof of appropriate licensing, insurance, and any required bonds prior to award. Performance and statutory Labor and Material Payment Bonds, and insurance in compliance with requirements, will be required at the signing of the Contract. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgement, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
