A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** PROJECT DESCRIPTION: It is intended that the work be completed in every respect under the Contract, and such items or details not mentioned above that are required by the Contract documents shall be furnished, performed, placed, constructed, or installed by the Contractor. The work includes slurry seal coating, crack sealing, SS-1H fog sealing, and pavement striping. Proposals shall conform to the requirements of this Invitation for Proposals and other documents listed herein and any addenda issued before the proposal opening date. The successful bidder shall furnish a payment and performance bonds, both equal to 100% of the contract amount. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: Liquidated Damages of $1,750.00 per calendar day are included in this project. COMPLETION OF WORK: The work must be completed within 90 calendar days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE: The contractor shall have a State of California Classification "A" Contractor's license to perform the work. A bid submitted by any contractor not properly licensed at the time of bid opening shall be considered non-responsive and will be rejected. The Contract for the work advertised will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. The City reserves the right to reject all bids, waive any irregularities, or dispense with further bidding.
