Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Hudsonville, Michigan. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility; and municipal facility.

Hudsonville Public Schools is seeking bids for the purchase and installation of new low voltage cabling, IP clock public address systems, associated equipment, and installation. Proposed systems shall be configured and installed as described. The sites of work include Alward Elementary School, Georgetown Elementary School, Jamestown Lower Elementary, Jamestown Upper Elementary, Baldwin Middle School, Riley Street Middle School, Early Childhood Center, Administrative Offices, and HPS Transportation Building. Bids must be submitted in total, with required detail for each item, and include all portions of the work identified for the individual bid package as specified. Bids shall be made on unaltered bid forms, with all blank spaces filled in and the bid signed by an authorized agent. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged for all contractors interested in bidding on any components or portions of this project. Sites of Work: 1. HPS Transportation Building 3550 Allen Street Hudsonville, Michigan 49426 Question Deadline 01/14/2026 at 5:00 PM ET Any bidder finding discrepancies between Drawings, Specifications, and/or Bid Documents, or be in doubt as to the exact meaning of any provision or detail shall notify the Designer at once, and before the deadline for Questions and Clarifications. The Designer reserves the right to issue Addenda at any time up to thirty-six (36) hours prior to the scheduled bid opening. All such addenda shall become, upon issuance, an inseparable part of the Spec A. Schedule 1. Final Vendor Presentations: January 28, 2026 2. Contractor Chosen: March 12, 2026 3. Work Commences: Issuance of Purchase Order or Notice to Proceed 4. Substantial Completion of Project: July 17, 2026 5. Project Close-out: August 3, 2026 Work described in this specification section pertains to Public Address and Intercom System expansion for Hudsonville Public Schools. Work shall include, but not be limited to, head-end equipment, cabling, ceiling and/or wall speakers, interface units and all other components and services required for a full and operational system. This work pertains specifically to South Elementary School. B. Owner desires to add to systems currently in operation and serving indicated locations on drawings. C. The Contractor shall design, engineer, configure, supply, connect, test, document, and warrant a fully operational and compliant system, complete and with full functionality as specified herein. D. Contractor shall coordinate their installation with other communication systems, contractors, Designer, and the Owner as is appropriate.
