Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Geneva, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
The project consists of repair and replacement of benches, floor, wall and ceiling tile finishes to the existing mens steam room. The Geneva Park District is accepting sealed bids for the 2026 SPRC Men's Steam Room Renovation Project. All bids must be plainly marked and received at the Administrative Offices. Plans and specifications can be obtained from the Administrative Offices starting at the specified date. A pre-bid meeting is highly encouraged. Bids must be submitted on the provided proposal forms and accompanied by cash, a certified bank draft, or a bond from an accredited surety company for 10% of the bid amount. All contracts are subject to Park District rules and regulations, and if applicable, the contractor must pay Kane County's prevailing wage rate. Bids remain firm for 60 days after opening. The Park District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, to serve the public interest or to waive informalities. Only bids in compliance with the Contract Documents will be considered. Bids may be modified or withdrawn prior to opening, but not withdrawn for 60 days after opening. Small, minority, and women's business firms are encouraged to bid and to be utilized as subcontractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.
