Demolition, site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Madras, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for the construction of a water / sewer project.

The work includes, without limitation, construction and commissioning of a new sanitary sewer pump station located on city property west of Demers Drive including a new wet well, pumps, telemetry, utilities, fencing and landscape restoration. Project also includes removal and decommission of the existing pump station. Each bidder is required to submit a first-tier subcontractor disclosure form in a separate envelope within two hours of the bid closing time. The bid proposal shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and marked appropriately. Bidders are responsible for checking with the Madras Public Works Department for the issuance of any addenda prior to submitting a bid. The contractor is responsible for all addenda/changes to the documents and will be considered non-responsive if the bid does not reflect those addenda/changes. Technical questions or requests for clarification or change should be directed to the City of Madras Public Works Department. Each bid must contain a certification declaring the bidder's residency status. In determining the lowest responsive bid, the City shall add a percentage increase to the bid of a nonresident bidder equal to the percentage, if any, of the preference given to the bidder in the state in which the bidder resides. The successful bidder must comply with the Oregon Public Contracting Code and the City’s Public Contracting Rules as amended from time to time, in the performance of the work. The project is a public works project subject to the state prevailing wage rates, the federal prevailing wage rates under the Davis Bacon Act, or both. No bid will be received or considered unless the bid contains a statement that the bidder will comply with applicable prevailing wage rate laws.
