Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in New Ellenton, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor for the construction of Wastewater Treatment Facility improvements, including the replacement of the static bar screen with a mechanical bar screen and construction of a new sprayfield pump station wet well, sprayfield vertical turbine pumps, and control building. The project also includes add alternates for replacement of the influent pump station pumps, replacement of air release valves, and installation of an emergency diesel generator. Bidders must have a State of South Carolina Contractors License for the relevant work classification and group number. Proposals must be made on the provided form and include prices in words and figures. All proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid, ensuring that the bidder will enter into a contract and furnish Performance and Payment Bonds, each equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Plans and specifications are available from Turnipseed Engineers with a fee. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
