Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Winterville, Georgia. Conceptual plans call civil work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The City of Winterville is seeking engineering firms to provide services for the expansion of Pittard Park. The project involves converting the existing disc golf course into a community facility serving all residents, with planned amenities including a new playground, skate park, pickle ball courts, natural surface parking, and stormwater retention on an approximately 8-acre site. Services required include preparing a Preliminary Engineering Report and further design, bidding, and management services if funding is awarded. Firms must be technically qualified, licensed for relevant services, and experienced in landscape and recreational design, state/federal grant programs, and similar projects. Submissions must include firm history, grant experience, qualifications, workload, proposed service scope, references, fees, and insurance. A cover letter signed by authorized officers is required. No faxed or emailed submittals will be accepted. All materials submitted become property of the City and are subject to open records laws. Contracts must comply with provisions set by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, and neither the City nor the NEGRC will be responsible for preparation costs of submissions. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
