Sealed Proposals are requested for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and appurtenances necessary to complete the ACE Main Parking Expansion. The work required includes, but is not limited to, grading, drainage, erosion control, concrete and hot mix asphalt paving, and stabilization of disturbed areas. The project will be awarded in one contract and the contract time is 90 calendar days. Liquidated damages of $250 per day will be assessed for each day the work extends beyond milestone completion dates. Proposers must be both responsive and responsible. The Owner may engage proposers in discussions, negotiations, and revisions of their proposals to obtain best and final offers, but reserves the option to select a proposer without such discussions. Evaluation Factors and a Scoring Matrix will be used for award decisions. The proposal documents include Instructions to Proposers, Contract Agreement, General Conditions, Drawings, Specifications, and forms of Proposal Bond, Performance Bond, and Payment Bond. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the Contract Amount from a licensed surety company. The successful proposer will be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each for 100% of the contract price. Complete proposal documents must be obtained from the Engineer's office to be eligible for submission. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and to waive informalities and technicalities. The Project consists of furnishing all labor and materials required for ACE Main Parking Expansion at 5665 New Forsyth Road, in Macon, Georgia, including but not limited to grading, drainage, erosion control, concrete and hot mix asphalt paving, and stabilization of disturbed areas.
