The work involves Municipal Water System Improvements for the City of Bliss, consisting of three main parts: (1) the completion of two submersible municipal wells (50 hp) in previously drilled well holes that meet public drinking water standards, including their corresponding well houses and generators; (2) construction of approximately 6,900 linear feet of 4-inch through 10-inch water main, water service lines, new fire hydrants, railroad bore crossing, and associated surface repairs, including work in railroad and ITD right-of-way; and (3) upgrades at the existing City water booster station, involving new replacement pumps, well and pump VFDs, electrical upgrades, chlorination upgrades, a new pressure relief valve, and a new generator. Instructions to bidders include obtaining Bidding Documents from the designated website and registering as a plan holder. All official notifications, addenda, and Bidding Documents will be available through the designated website. Prospective bidders may also examine documents at the issuing office. The project requires payment of prevailing Davis-Bacon wage rates and adherence to American Iron and Steel requirements, with certain waivers applying to the contract.
