The work consists of the Sunset School Roofing Replacement. All bids must be made on the bid form included in the bid packet available from the District's Secure Bid Portal. Bids must be submitted electronically via the District's Secure Bids Vendor portal. The contract time is 60 days. Bidders must consult the General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, and General Requirements regarding milestones and liquidated damages. Bidders and designated MEP subcontractors must be prequalified according to specified instructions and licensure requirements. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid conference at the project site is required for bid eligibility. Bidders must provide a valid and active Class C39 - Roofing Contractor License at the time of bid and throughout the contract. Bids must strictly conform to the contract documents and be accompanied by the required bidder's security (at least 10% of the total bid), and the designated subcontractor list. Payment and performance bonds (each 100% of contract amount) are required. Compliance with prevailing wage laws and submission of certified payroll records is mandatory. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive irregularities.
