Sealed bids are invited for the Main Street and Washington Avenue Resurfacing Project in Lackawanna County. Bids must be submitted to the Lackawanna County Controller at 123 Wyoming Avenue, 2nd Floor, Lackawanna County Government Center, Scranton, PA, in a sealed envelope marked "Bid for Lackawanna County Main Street and Washington Avenue Resurfacing Project." The bid must include a certified or cashier's check, or a bid bond amounting to 10% of the bid, a non-collusion affidavit, and a certificate of authority for out-of-state contractors. To be eligible, bidders must register electronically and attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting. This is a Public Works Project subject to relevant Pennsylvania statutes. The County may reject any or all bids or portions thereof, or waive informalities. If awarded, the bidder agrees to execute and deliver the Agreement in the prescribed form if notified within sixty days after bid opening, or later if the bid is not withdrawn. Question Deadline 01/15/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents shall be received in writing or via internet email by the Architect/Engineer. Questions received less than seven (7) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered
