Site work and paving for a road / highway in Archbald, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The work on this project will include but is not limited to the reconstruction of approximately 19,976 square yards of paved roadway and installation of a new drainage system with approximately 1,357 linear feet of pipe and 20 inlets. Bidders' proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, certified bank treasurer's check, bank cashier's check or bid bond in the form provided in the Contract Documents. A satisfactory corporation surety shall provide security in an amount equal to 10% of the base bid. The surety shall name as payee or obligee the Archbald Borough. A Non-Collusion Affidavit of Contractor will be required to be signed and notarized prior to the award of any contract. A no-lien agreement will be required to be signed and filed by the contractor before any work begins on the project. The project is subject to the applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. All proposals shall be irrevocable for sixty days after bid opening date, unless delayed due to required approvals of another governmental agency, and shall be accompanied by a 10% bid guaranty, payable to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all irregularities, mistakes, omission informalities relative thereto.
